A Night in Neon

I know I'm jumping the gun on this topic-- but when I saw this dress via Twitter from Wasteland, I couldn't not talk about it. I'm talking about Coachella. More importantly, I'm talking about what to wear to Coachella. And most importantly, I'm talking about what to wear to the parties during Coachella.

The Neon Carnival Party. It is arguably the best party of Coachella, hosted by 944 and Armani Exchange, and was transformed into a carnival from an airplane hangar. The Hilton sisters, Josh Hartnett, Camilla Belle, and Kellan Lutz (just to name a few) were some of the celebs that partied there. That being said, a killer outfit for that event is an absolute MUST.

Naven Neon Carnival Cut-Out Dress

Jeffrey Campbell Litas

The Naven Neon Carnival Cut-out Dress is PERFECT for this event-- it basically has the same name. Personally, I would looooove to be rocking this dress while enjoying the free-flowing booze and dancing til 5 AM. If you can't afford the $300 dress that can be found on http://shopnaven.com, then you can resort to Plan B: throwing on a sexy, white dress and slip into some of these neon colored Jeffrey Campbell Litas.

Ruthie Davis-Spring 2012

ACE in Cream & Gold

CAKE in Honey & Bubblegum

CUPCAKE in Coral

AVATAR in Black & Tortoise

ART in Black & Tortoise

MICROCOMPACT in Tan & Gold

LOUNGE in Coral & Rose Gold
Bolts, studs, spikes. Those three things can make any platform heel look edgy as f*ck. With a heel or wedge at least 5.5 inches high with 1.5 inch platform, I would dress my feet in Ruthie Davis shoes faster than you can say FMP.

These are the epitome of F*ck Me Pumps.

I love how the ACE's soft neutrality is set off with edgy bolts, the unexpected tortoise heels of the AVATAR and ART, and the unusual combo of coral, patent leather, and spikes as seen in the LOUNGE.

1 Week Til' Valentine's Day

I don't know who the designers are of these pieces, but I couldn't help but share. These photos are of Constance Jablonski photographed by Greg Kadel for Vogue Italia February 2012. Although I am fully aware that I will be celebrating Singles' Awareness Day alone instead of Valentine's Day with a significant other, these pictures make me want to have a boy to parade in pretty lingerie for. I love the pale pink bodysuit, and the fur and feathers. Hey, depending on how much I liked the guy, I may or may not be down to strategically position pretty pink roses over my lady parts. Sooo pretty.
